Posted below are some short notes from our Pastor, Mark Thomas, given in his New Year sermon on Sunday 31st December 2006. Hope they are a help.
- TIME is THE most limited resource we have.
- If we want to 'fly with God' we must get rid of excess baggage, say goodbye to the past.
- Don't be afraid to say NO to other people's baggage.
- You do not need to be in a church of 1000 people to 'fly with God'.
Listed below are specific prophetic words given to members of our congregation.
- Joanna (Worship Leader) - You do not have to immitate anyone else, you are who YOU are. You will reveal the 'Light of Jesus' through your worship.
- Mair & Jeff - You will see 'an older generation' come back to Jesus.
- Bruce & Cat - You will 'plant & pioneer' again this year.
- Rebecca - You will discover the 'strangeness of God' this year.
- Gareth - 'A Media Man' during 2007.
